Century Research and Testing Capabilities
Century is a leading manufacturer that supplies all types of advanced electrochlorination equipment and custom MMO titanium anodes. We have a professional Research and Development team to ensure absolute catalytic quality.
In addition, Century has advanced electrochemical testing labs that comply with stringent international manufacturing requirements.
- Development of Custom Ruthenium-Iridium / Iridium-Tantalum Coating Formulations.
- Testing and Inspection of Prototype OEM Pool Cell Electrode Stacks.
- Verification and Analysis of Chlorine Output and Faraday Efficiency.
- Hydrostatic Bursting and Continuous Pump Pressure Validation.
- Accelerated Anode Depletion and Lifespan Benchmarking.
Electrochlorination Testing Lab & Environmental Simulation
We test all our electrolytic products according to strict industrial and ASTM equivalent standards. Aside from that, we also perform high-amperage continuous-duty testing, material property testing (for our UPVC/Acrylic electrolyser vessels housings), and harsh environmental resistance testing for our outdoor salt chlorinator power centers.
Century is well-equipped with advanced analysis equipment for base material identification, non-destructive coating thickness measurement, and complex formulation analysis. This equipment also helps in determining various electrochemical manufacturing failures (such as substrate passivation or hydride embrittlement).
Common Electrochlorination Test Parameters
- Coating Adhesion & Thickness Analysis:Utilizing advanced X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) to guarantee exact noble metal loading per square meter.
- Hydrodynamic & Pressure Tolerance:Subjecting our machined and clear injection-molded cell housings to extreme water hammer and sustained static pressure tests.
- Electrical Continuity & Dielectric Strength:Rigorous Hi-Pot (High Potential) testing on all power supplies and rectifiers to ensure zero electrical leakage into the water stream.
- Chlorine Evolution Potential:Utilizing potentiostat scanning to ensure the lowest possible DC voltage requirement, maximizing operational efficiency for municipal skid builders.
